This is a great website! I am planning a trip maybe late 2014. Can you let me know when is the best time to come, to avoid “cold” weather and/or snow. Also, where I can find cheap airline tix? Thanks.

December/January are the coldest months. I would recommend spring or autumn (fall). Summer is also very hot. Spring is also a good time to see the cherry blossoms which Japan is famous for. I am not sure about airline tickets, it depends where you will be flying from. Check online for good deals or directly with the airline’s internet site.

I will be going to Tokyo this coming mid January 2016. Can you advise what type of wear is suitable for me. This is my first time there, I do not want to spend so much so I will only buy the necessary clothing if needed. can you advise me.

Thank you so much.

Vin
